One nice old Vixen spark plug tester and cleaner. with pull out drawer to hold adapters and plugs. 3 adapters for different size plugs- covers most early 1900's vintage plugs. Original unit has the patina of 1900's classic design with a hint of rust as shown. These were manufactured in California and primarily used to clean the early Ford Model "A" spark plugs as they fouled with carbon buildup frequently. Many types of spark plugs could benefit from a good cleaning.
The knobs appear to function when turned, but it is considered not tested. I removed two screws off the back cover to inspect contents. It looks complete to me, it may function but since this unit should be capable of putting out very high voltage(~20,000 kV or more), USE CAUTION and have it checked out by a qualified technician, or better yet, I
recommend
to use it for display only. It looks very clean and ready for your man cave shelf!
